The mother of the four kids who died during a fire outbreak at Efise close to Amasaman in the Greater Accra region speaks on radio

According to 3news.com, the sad mother named Sister Afia spoke in a radio interview said that she is going through a lot because of the heavy loss.

Narrating what she saw upon arriving at the scene when she came back from church, the heartbroken mother who is also a reverend minister said:

In fact, when we got to the scene the people around said they heard the cry of the children and when they got closer they saw the smoke but when they called us the fire had gotten out of hand

She said

She also said that, when she was leaving the house for church, one of her late daughters asked her to take the lead and promised to come with the other siblings.

Although what happened is not something to be grateful for, she remained grateful that her lastborn had gone to the church with her before the fire started else she would have lost all of them.

Sista Afia also used the opportunity to clear the air on rumors going around that her 16-year-old daughter was the cause of the fire because she had left for her boyfriend’s place

I am going through a lot so I don’t like what they are saying about me and my daughter. If she left for her boyfriend’s house, how come she is part of the dead children?

she said

The children who died were 16, 13, 9, and 7 years old and they were asleep when the fire gutted their four-bedroom house.
