Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale in an interview on Hitz FM has affirmed to his decision on retiring from doing active music after his “Gift Of Godalbum.

Shatta Wale has announced yesterday 31st March his intention to quit music after the release of his highly rated Gift Of God Album.

According to Shatta Wale, his retirement from the music scene will lead him to venture into other business tp create more employment for those in the music scene.

He took to his Facebook page to reveal this shocking news to his fans and the world at large.

Shatta Wale wrote THIS #GOGALBUM WILL BE MY RETIREMENT ALBUM.
Made enough to go into new businesses and create employment for those who still want to follow the course !

Early this morning on Day Break Hitz on Hit FM with host, Andy Dosty, Shatta Wale has revealed his intentions to retire from doing active music is not a prank.

Since Shatta Wale’s announcement on his retirement came few hours to 1st April, many thought it was one of his normal jokes but he has revealed he is serious.

Speaking on whether he is pranking Ghanaians, Shatta Wale said social media users are not serious and that he meant what he said.
