Businessman Ernest Ofori Sarpong recently opened up on his family in an interview on Joy FM’s Personality Profile.
In the interview, Ofori Sarpong indicated he has been married to his wife, Serwaa, for over 29 years.
According to the businessman, he got married to his wife after only three to four months of dating.
Narrating how she met Serwaa, the Special Ice owner revealed that he knew the elder sister of his wife and got to be acquainted through that. At that time, Serwaa was based in London and was visiting Ghana intermittently.
She used to live in London and sometimes she will come for holidays. So when she came, I said no, I won’t let you go back again. You are my lie partner…we dated for about three or four months and we got married.
At that time, Dr Ofori Sarpong was running his family’s business at the age of 25 years. While he was relatively young, the businessman explained that he wanted to be responsible and to live anyhow. He also revealed that the marriage has brought forth three children.
Their children are all females name Cindy, a pharmacist, Mandy, a lawyer, and the youngest who is her sixth year in medical school.
