US Based Ghanaian Spoken Word artist Cynthia Amoah recently joined Antoine Mensah on Route919, the drive time show on Live 91.9 FM to talk about her career and a lot more.

She has been featured on the stages of TEDxDrewUniversity and TEDxOhioStateUniversity where she performed her most notable poem ‘Honam.’

Through her literary works and performance, Amoah aspires to leave an indelible mark on the way in which we discuss race, gender, and social justice.
Her poignant poems often explore themes of community, the value of culture, and a dedication to self-identity.
A performer and writer originally from Ghana, Amoah is an activist in her own right. Her work often highlights the forgotten stories of the world.
Amoah graduated from Binghamton University in upstate New York, with a B.A. in Political Science and Africana Studies.
She is currently pursing an MFA in poetry at The New School, New York City, United States of America.
