On her new album, The Lion King, The Gift, she featured most outstanding musicians from Africa, some of which includes Shatta Wale, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy etc.

Beyoncé in an interview with ABC tv, she stated the reasons for her album, why she chose the stars on her album and more.
According to the Beyoncé “This is my love letter to Africa and I wanted to make sure we found the best talents from Africa and not just to use some of the sound to demand reputation I wanted authentic to what is beautiful about the music and Africa”.
