Families and friends of the late Nana Fodour cry with pain after hearing the distressful news of their lost.
Nana Fodour, Otumfour’s Asamponhene was reportedly murdered by some armed men while he was on his way traveling.
The police officers reported that, they received a distress call about a car being involved in an accident but when they arrived at the scene, they found Nana Fodour in a pool of blood.
He was reportedly stabbed whilst travelling on the Ejura – Nkoranza road on Sunday August 18, 2019.
At the moment, the body of the deceased has been sent to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
Police on their investigations revealed that the armed men made attempts to set his vehicle on fire of which photos of the scene shows some part of his vehicle seats burnt.
Police has initiated investigations and suspect the incident was chieftaincy related.
