A few months ago, Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur John Dumelo filed his nomination to contest the Ayawaso West Wugoun seat.
John Dumelo has taken a bold steps in contesting for a parliamentary seat on 2020 and as it stands now, things are going smoothly with him.
The actor after filing his nomination was seen cleaning the gutters of a community which is part of the constituency he is contesting in.
After the voting for NDC primaries in the various constituencies culminated, John Dumelo dethroned the former MP with a 758 votes which made him to give a wider gap between his opponent.
Ghanaian down to earth actor John Dumelo on 24th August 2019 won the New Democratic Congress Primaries for Ayawaso West Wougon Constituency, which even made his wife, Miss Gee to reacts.

Finally, the actor and politician has spoken after been declared winner of the Ayawaso West Wugoun Constituency for beating his NDC opponent, Madam Suzzy Afua Adoboe with 758 votes.
