Recently,it was  reported that Okuraseni Samuel bemoamed that his late father used to write songs for Obouba J.A Adofo.

On the other hand, it looks like the revelation didn’t go down well with J.A Adofo as he came out clean in reference to Okuraseni’s father (Sammy Jones) writing songs for him when he started music but accepted the fact Sammy Jones helped him.

According to the renowned Highlife musician, Sammy Jones never helped him in any way with regards to songs composition. All that Sammy Jones did for him was by supporting him with provisions.

And as the saying goes, “one good turn deserves another”, he decided to mention his name in one of his songs –Obra Ahyɛaseɛ– basically to show appreciation to Sammy Jones’ kindness.

He therefore advised Okuraseni Samuel to desist from polluting the air with the erroneous notion that his father, Sammy Jones, helped him in his (J.A Adofo) musical compositions. If not, he’ll drag him to the appropriate department anytime he hears that statement from him going forward!

After this warning by J.A Adofo, Okuraseni Samuel in an exclusive interview with Fante Quoo of Inside Prime Page has stated categorically that he doesn’t trust the words of J.A Adofo that Sammy Jones never helped him in his musical compositions.

To the best knowledge of Okuraseni Samuel, he saw Adofo hanging up with his late father severally and that his father was an exceptional guitarist. Besides, his father told him in person that he put together the lyrics of “Obra Ahyɛaseɛ” for J.A Adofo.

Therefore, it beats his imagination for J.A Adofo to come out to declare the truth as null and void.!!
