After several months of wild rumours about Mzvee’s departure from Lynx Entertainment owned by Richie Mensah, the Daavi hit maker officially announced that she has mutually parted ways with the giant music label not too long ago.
Although Richie Mensah has remained tight lipped on the actual cause of the split, there have been several speculations that the Afrobeats and Dancehall specialist left because Richie was overly concentrating on his darling boys of the label, KiDi and Kuame Eugene at her expense.

However, Kuame Eugene has added a different version to the narrative. According to the award-winning singer, Mzvee left because she was interested in starting a nuclear family.
She is a big girl now and she wants to go get married so she needs to further what she wants to do… She has got plans and all I can say is I wish Mzvee well,” he said.
He also expressed some regret saying: “Unfortunately I lost a sister. She isn’t dead but she is no longer part of our label.”
“It’s just these rascals Dope Nation and Kidi just running around the house fortunately or unfortunately but we are brothers and one family. Mzvee is gone but we are still coping.
