Kuami Eugene speaking on Hitz Fm indicated that fan bases are a disruption the Ghana Music Industry and won’t help the industry grow.

“When King Promise, KiDi, Stonebwoy or Shatta Wale is doing a show, I’ll urge every Ghanaian to go. I don’t want Shatta movement to come to my show and I won’t get BHIM or Sark nation there. I just don’t second the notion that we live in this small country with not even 50 million people but there are lots of nations in this small nation.”
