History often paint former President Jerry John Rawlings as a brutal military ruler who committed some undocumented atrocities.

Rawlings’ former friend, Osahene Boakye Gyan has highlighted one of his brutal aspect in a fresh interview by revealing how he murdered another soldier by drowning him in the ocean after he tied him to a cement block.

Boakye Gyan who played a crucial role in the infamous June 4 uprising alongside Rawlings who was then a flight lieutenant, said said his former friend wickedly tied the legs of Kojo Lee who was also a lieutenant in the army and dropped him deep into the ocean with the help of an helicopter.

He revealed this during an interview on Neat FM.

“I said he hanged Kojo Lee on the helicopter with blocks tied to his legs and drown him in the Atlantic Ocean. That is Rawlings for you,” he said on Neat FM to the shock of listeners.

Osahene Boakye Gyan added he has a lot on his chest but at the appropriate time he will let out steam.

“He [Rawlings] is too small for me,” Boakye Gyan added.

He challenged Rawlings to tell Ghanaians where Kojo Lee is, what happened or caused his death and even tell Ghanaians where Kojo Lee was buried.
