Timaya and Dubai based Nigerian, Hushpuppi involve in a heated argument over celebrities who wear fake shoes, watches and clothes.
Timaya shared a video showing his Vivien Westwood shirt he said he bought for N500 pounds on his IG page.
According to Timaya, most celebrities would take a picture of a shirt like his and give to their tailors to replicate for them. He said this is living a fake life and advised the celebrities guilty of this to desist.
Timaya’s comment sparked off a rollercoaster of heated exchanges with Dubai-based Nigerian man, Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi who tackled Timaya over his comment, recalled how the singer featured his colleagues who dissed him in a song after they got called out by him (Hushpuppi) for wearing fake wrist watches.
He wrote;
Timaya who fired back at him, said he doesn’t reply people who stay in exile abroad. He stated that Hushpuppi should come back home or stay silent.
Hushpuppi who slammed Timaya in a comeback video, said he got quite lucky for letting go of his earlier comment of celebrities that wear fake designers. According to the Dubai-based Nigerian man, celebrities like D’banj and Davido who dress better don’t make as much noise as Timaya.
