The arrival of Cardi B in Ghana was characterized with lots of low moments, – to mention a few like the Ghanaian Celebrities and the Chinchinga moment, the likes of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie among others who were billed to perform at the Cardi B concert could not perform.
Well, Sarkodie who billed to perform at the concert which was held at the Accra Sports Stadium finally shares the reason why he could not.
According to him, per the contract he signed with organizers he was supposed to perform between 8pm and 1am in the morning, however after that time he still had not perform.
He added that he had to make a decision whether to perform or not to perform since his fans had paid to come watch him perform.
As such, he had to make the hard decision of not performing at the Concert.
Speaking to Andy Dotsy he said that;
I think every artist was there, and also I went for sound check, I put out promo videos for the program. I was there to perform my duty and also see to it that, the funs that paid to come and see me will see me.
I was suppose to perform at 8pm and legally if am booked at 8pm and it 12 to 1am in the morning, i need to make a decision to whether perform at the program or not , i was also feed with an information whether to perform or not.
Not just me but some of the Nigerian artist who were also invited to the program didn’t perform at the program due to mismanagement
