Akon has officially disclosed he indeed signed Sarkodie.
In a press conference to address the media organized by entertainment mogul Bolar Ray, Akon said that he indeed signed Sarkodie and other African artists on his Konvict Music Record Label.
If you ever thought Sarkodie was blowing dust on the eye Ghanaians on his brag on being signed by Akon, the truth has been finally revealed from the horse’s own mouth.
In the press conference, other artists Akon revealed he signed were PSquare and Wizkid at that time.
According to Akon, it wasn’t actually with the aim of making money from them but to help them push Africa to battle the international market.
