What is happening in our Secondary Schools of late is shocking. In an earlier post published on our platform, we wrote stories concerning dormitories burning at Accra Academy twice and Buipe Secondary School just recently.
In the latest development, a fire has destroyed dormitories of Boamponsem Senior High School in the Upper Denkyira East District of the Central Region.
A dormitory consisting of 12-bed room story building belonging to the boys has been burnt to ashes.
In an interview with the Headmistress Mrs. Grace Annabel, she urges the gov’t and other stakeholders to be on their aid immediately.
In the video sighted by thedistin.com, Fire service personnel were seen trying to curb the fire from destroying further school properties.
Also, students were seen stranded on the school compound as they had to leave valuables outside.
