Member Of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong has donated some items to all 16 regional hospitals across the country to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
The items included 100,000 pieces of gloves, masks and hand sanitizers, and some beds and protective clothing.
According to Mr. Kennedy, this virus is very deadly and if measures are not put in place to prevent its spread, and we get to the stage of countries like Italy and the USA, Ghana won’t be able to handle the situation.
However, he added that the purpose of all these items he giving out today is that Ghana does not want to get to that stage as Italy and the USA.

As of 24th March 2020, Ghana has recorded 53 coronavirus cases with 2 deaths and no recoveries.
