A Ghanaian man has been given the punishment of life as he was caught by military personnel taking videos of them during the lockdown exercise.
The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah has issued the directive for the lockdown of Greater Accra Region, Kasoa Municipally and Kumasi metropolis for the next two weeks.
President Nana Akufo-Addo made the declaration in a national address delivered on Friday, March 27, 2020.
According to the President of the land, the lockdown will start from 1 am on Monday, 31st March 2020 and will run for 2 weeks subject to constant review.
To control activities and prevent further spread of the virus, security personnel have been deployed into the restricted zones to ensure law and order.
