While Ghana is still in lockdown, some people have disobeyed and have been punished by military and policemen, while some have just been obedient enough to stay in their homes as directed by the president. See the several videos of military men and civilians clashing here.

Coming to the rescue of these people [mostly women], the vice president has shared amongst them 500ghs each for their up throughout the lockdown season.

The donation was made on behalf of the Vice President by the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Hajia Alima Mahama.
