Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia commences his donations to Kakayei who look stranded under the lockdown exercise to help the nation fight Coronavirus.

Recently, a truck full of humans “Kayayei” snitching their way to their hometowns to avoid contracting the deadly outbreak of Coronavirus caused a massive mayhem in the country.

However, after they were caught flouting the government’s directives, their decisions were futile by the immediate officials to the state.

The Kayayei after their aborted journey to Walewale have been transported back to Accra where they are currently in a temporary shelter provided by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.

Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the Vice President has donated money to support them during the 14 days lockdown in Accra.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated ¢500 each to all the Kayayei to support what the state is to give to them and also to help the nation to fight Coronavirus with ease.

In a video sighted by Thedistin.com, they were grouped and a rep from the office of the Vice President presented them their share each.
