The Ghana government has launched the GH COVID-19 Tracker App to help to counter the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19 in the country.

The App was launched on Monday, 13th April 2020.

About Covid-19 Tracker App

“GH COVID-19 Tracker” is a computer/mobile program or software application developed by the Ministry of Communications to help in the fight against the deadly COVID-19.

The app, powered by the Ministry of Communication is free to download mobile software.

GH COVID-19 Tracker App will available on Android and iOS platforms for downloads.

How To Download And Use

  • Log on to ghcovid19.com, check “I accept Terms and Conditions” then click to download
  • After clicking on download, you may be prompted to trust the source of this app.
  • You will see app file downloading on your device.
  • Once the download is complete, go to the folder where the app is downloaded and tap on the GHCOVID19.apk file to start the installation of the app. Tap Yes when prompted
  • When you click on “INSTALL”, you may be prompted to allow installation from unknown sources on your device
  • If prompted, click on the checkbox for Unknown Sources under Settings on your device to allow the installation.
  • You will see the app installing on your device.
  • Once installation of the app is complete, click on “Open” to launch the app and start using it

As of Sunday, 12th April 2020 Ghana has recorded 566 cases with 8 deaths and 4 recoveries. 10 out of 16 regions have recorded COVID-19 so far.
