So Twitter is buzzing over one Curly Mimi who has apparently literally scammed every big [popular] name on Twitter by catfishing– asking for mobile money and making some of these poor guys and girls believe they were in a relationship with him.

As hilarious and stupid as it sounds, this one sounds like it’s picked straight out of a movie, …right?? cuz this one di33 as3 nyansa nni mu bi saa no. ??

Who Is Curly Mimi, The Person Behind The Account?

So the whole yawa be say this Twitter user by name Curly Mimi [@CurlyMimi_] was quite popular amongst Ghanaian Tweeps, like she was big deal and tinz, …like if she retweets your something kroaa, you for print then frame am then go hand for your hall, wey then she dey be too.

Curly Mimi got just got caught today for being a male! so it’s been a boy [berma paa] behind the account all this while. na mesee nanim denden!! hmm!!

It’s not very clear yet how the account got exposed for being fake, but apparently the guy behind it is “Nene Carboo Kweku”. [his photos and account below]

Nene Carboo was using photos from the Instagram page of a lady abroad [Obroni tuntum] by name Fatou Jallow– reposting her photos and sharing them with his victims when they asked for photos of him.

So the number of people who fell for the scam by Nene Carboo is what makes it even more interesting– photos and screenshot from some relevant people on Twitter who have interacted with the catfish account have started to pop up!

They are saying he claimed mobile money (momo) from them, got into relationships online with some even ending in serious broken hearts.
