A total of 7 Police Officer in Bolgatanga in the Upper Region have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
The latest numbers adds up to two others who already tested positive for the virus after they were exposed to infected persons who traveled to the region.
According to reports sighted by thedistin.com on MynewsGh, the first batch of infection involved policemen who were escort duties to the Region whiles the new cases were returning to duty after holidays faced a similar fate.
137 Police Officer in the region have been asked to self-isolate as their samples have been taken KCCR for testing as they await their results.
Upper East Region has so far recorded 18 cases with one death.
