The President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo in his ninth nation address has disclosed that confirmed cases have jumped to 4,700 with 494 recoveries.
However, the good news is no death has been recorded, and still total number of death remain at 22.
He further revealed that persons who have lost their lives to deadly coronavirus had underlying health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure among others.
He also urged Ghanaians to live a healthy lifestyle such as eating healthy foods, exercising regularly, sleeping well among others which are key in fighting the deadly coronavirus.
He said;
With our total number of infections standing at 4,700 with 494 recoveries, 5 persons being critically ill and 4,179 responding to treatment, 22 persons virtually all of them with underlying illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes and chronic liver disease have unhappily died
