A few days ago, there were reports that the founder of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Obinim has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service.
Apparently, these reports turned out to be untrue, as one of his junior pastors came out to clarify that there was no truth to the matter.
Well, thedistin.com has sighted a statement by the Ghana Police Service proving that indeed Bishop Daniel Obinim has been arrested and been granted bail.
In the statement signed by the Head Of Public Affairs/CID, Deputy Superintendent Ms. Juliana Obeng, Bishop Obinim was arrested based on a court warrant.
However, Obinim has been granted bail to the tune of GHC100,000 with three sureties and expected to reappear in court on June 1, 2020.
Obinim according to the statement has been charged with publication of false news and forged document.
