Tweeps and highlife rapper Okyeame Kwame are confused as a story of “Ghana owing it’s first-ever world champion DK Poison an amount of $45,000 45 years ago” which was allegedly used to import mackerel at the era of col. Acheampong pops up.
Okyeame Kwame while reacting to the topic quizzed whether it’s true Ghana owes DK Poison for almost 45yrs now and no government has tried to sort him out.
According to the post, the legend is seriously ill and needs financial support therefore they are calling upon the government to come to his aid.
This got twitter buzzing as some people couldn’t believe that someone’s cash price took just to import mackerels back then and paying back has become a problem.
Others also believe that’s the end of his money because the government will request for documents to prove that indeed such amount of money was taken from him.
