Mr Drew’s managements, Highly Spiritual Music has issued a statement regarding Mr.Drew/Rotimi “song theft”.
As reported earlier, Mr Drew got hit hard as his official music video his new song “Eat” featuring Stonebwoy was taken down by YouTube for copyright issues.
The video had accumulated over 151,000 views within its short time of existence and was doing marvelously well till it was pulled down by YouTube.
According to YouTube the video contained content from ‘EMPIRE’ and as such has been blocked by YouTube for copyright reasons.
Mr Drew, since the news broke out has been trending all over the internet with some fraction trolling him for copying someone’s song.
The Managements of the musician has however reacted to the claims saying that their artiste, Mr Drew has not stolen any song.
According to them, the song was a ‘cover version’ of the original performance and on every occasion, their artiste credits the originator, Rotim hence it’s not stolen.
