Mr Drew Renders Apology To Stonebwoy Over The “Mr Drew/Rotimi Song Theft” Saga | Video

We reported earlier on how Mr Drew did a song, “Eat” featuring Stonebwoy which was a rip of Nigerian musician Rotimi’s Love Riddim, got blocked by YouTube for copyright reasons. Listen to Eat here or see a comparison between the two songs here.

The news got fans and many music lovers asking as to whether Stonebwoy knew the Song was just a cover of Rotimi’s” Love Riddim”.

Speaking on the matter in an interview, Mr Drew revealed that Stonebwoy was very aware that the “Eat” song was a cover of Rotimi’s” Love Riddim” but insisted to be on it.

Stonebwoy in a phone interview monitored by thedistin.com, however, debunked the allegations saying he never knew the song was a sample of Rotimi’s” Love Riddim”. Click here to listen to the audio.

Well, Mr Drew, after Stonebwoy debunked his allegations has come out to render an apology to Stonebwoy over their ‘Eat’ song that got struck by Rotimi over copyright claims.

According to Mr Drew, he’s very sorry over what happened, adding that he did not intentionally mean to dent the name of Stonebwoy with his actions.

He also stated that Stonebwoy featured him strictly based on pure love and that he is ‘really sorry’ over what happened.
