Award-winning Dancehall musician Stonebwoy has debunked Mr Drew’s allegations that He(Stonebwoy) knew the song was a cover before he (Stonebwoy) offered to Join.

We reported earlier on how Mr Drew did a song “Eat” which was a rip of Nigerian musician Rotimi’s Love Riddim, Listen to Eat here or see a comparison between the two songs here.

The song according to YouTube is because the ‘Eat’ song contained content from ‘EMPIRE’ and as such has been blocked by YouTube for copyright reasons.

This got many music lovers asking as to whether Stonebwoy knew the Song was just a cover of Rotimi’s” Love Riddim”.

However, speaking on the matter in an interview, Mr Drew revealed that Stonebwoy was very aware that the “Eat” song was a cover of Rotimi’s” Love Riddim” but insisted to be on it.

Well, Stonebwoy in an interview monitored by thedistin.com has come out debunk the allegations saying he never knew the song was a sample of Rotimi’s” Love Riddim”.

Speaking in a phone interview, Stonebwoy pleaded with Mr Drew and his boss, Kaywa to kindly leave his name out the brouhaha and find a solution to the pending problem.
