Speaking with Complex via email, Donae’O revealed why he put Kwesi Arthur and Frenzo on the remix
“For the remix, the reason I got Kwesi involved was because I’ve been following his movement for a minute, and when I went out to Ghana and realised how much of an impact he was making, I felt we culturally and musically would be a great fit as I was looking for the right collaborator on the ‘Vancouver’ remix, and thought this is a great start! Frenzo, I heard him on ‘Hands On, Hands Off’ on ImJustBait’s Instagram page and went to follow him straightaway — in my opinion, he is one of the top five rappers in the UK. Watch him. So I’m excited to have a blend of these worlds together.”
