Collins Owusu Amankwah Loses His Seat To Akwasi Konadu In Manhyia North Constituency With 5 Votes

Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Manhyia North Constituency in the Ashanti Region ”  Collins Owusu Amankwah ” has been defeated by Akwasi Konadu, amid the NPP Primaries to elect their Member Of Parliament for the upcoming general elections to be held in Ghana.

According to reports, former MP for Manhyia North Constituency ” Collins Owusu Amankwah” lost his seat with 5 votes. He had 273 votes whereas Akwasi Konadu took the seat with 278 votes.

New Patriotic Party ” NPP” is known in the constituency as owners of the seat as a result of continuous victory in every election to elect a Member of Parliament. Hence, it’s considered one of the strong homes for the NPP Elections.
