The Police in Dubai have finally shared a video of how Nigerian socialite Hushpuppi was tracked and finally arrested.
About a few weeks ago, thedistin.com reported a story of the arrest of Hushpuppi by the Dubai Police and even Nigerian Interpol had confirmed his arrest.
It was also reported by Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo that Hushpuppi has been sent to Pennsylvania Prison to serve his sentence.
Well, in the latest development of the whole incident, the Dubai police have dropped a video of how they monitored the activities of Hushpuppi and finally arrested him.
The video that was released was named “Fox Hunt 2” where the authorities in Dubai discovered a hidden online fraud network that was committing crimes outside the UAE.
The crimes included money-laundering, cyber fraud, hacking, criminal impersonation, banking fraud, and identity theft.

Dubai Police Statement
In an Operation dubbed #foxhunt2 , Dubai Police have arrested Hushpuppi, Olalekan Jacob Ponle aka “Woodberry”, along with ten members of an African gang, specialised in money laundry, and online fraud.
Dubai Police reported in an Instagram post.
HE Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, said the operation is another achievement added to the proud record of Dubai police in ensuring the emirate’s security, safety, as well as preserving people’s money and property. Similar to operation ‘Fox Hunt 1’ that took down an African gang of nine online scammers last February, ‘Fox Hunt 2’ is another painful hit to cybercriminals who try to mess with the world’s security and safety,” he said.
It was seen in the video that Hushpuppi was arrested together with twelve other accomplices.
