NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiko, popularly referred to as Chairman Wontumi shows off bars of gold to prove that he’s very rich.
In the video sighted by thedistin.com, Chairman Wontumi who was on his TV station “Wontumi TV” removed more than 6 bars of gold out of his bag.
According to him, having money in the bank does not show that you are rich but these bars of gold shows how rich you are.
Chairman Wontumi indicated that it is as a result of this gold that our colonial masters named us “Gold Coast”.
He added that if Chairman Wontumi has money is not about the bank but rather gold.
