Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour aka Dr UN is set to hold a press conference to address the ‘fake UN-Kofi Anan Award saga.
In a video sighted online, Dr UN stated that he’s going to hold a press conference to address the whole issues surrounding the award scheme.
I’m going to do a press briefing and I will tell the world about the award.
He said.
Speaking on claims that the awards scheme is fake, Dr Fordjour debunked claims that the awards scheme is fake.
According to him, people are claiming the awards are fake because there is beef among the celebrities in the industry.
I don’t know… Its because they have beef between themselves that’s why they are creating the confusion. We have great people around us so I can’t do that and I’m a credible person and a diplomat so I respect humanity. I cant invest in that award without profit and say I want to gain name. I would have used that money to take care of my children.
He said.
Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour, last week got himself trending after award, named “UN Kofi Annan Global Award Excellence Award in Leadership,” was presented to Ghanaian celebrities and personalities was labelled as fake.
The alleged fake award was presented to celebrated Ghanaians, including Sarkodie, D Black, Berla Mundi, DJ Black, Nathaniel Attoh, and others.
