Afrobeat singer Kelvyn Boy has finally spoken for the first time after he quickly left the VGMA auditorium when Dope Nation won afrobeat song of the year.

Speaking on ShowbizNow on JoyPrime, Kelvyn Boy said that he did not leave the auditorium because he was angry at Dope Nation won the award.

According to him, coincidentally he was leaving already, and even if he had won the award, he would have still left at that time.

He added that it was even good that happened because people are talking about it.
