President Nana Akufo-Addo has extended the free water policy to the end of the year 2020.
Ever since the emergency of COVID 19 cases in the country, the President has put up measures to help curtail the spread of the deadly virus.

One such measure is the “free water policy” for Ghanaians to ensure that they wash their hands regularly.
Despite active cases reducing and number of new confirmed cases reducing, President Akufo-Addo has extended the “Free Water For All Ghanaians” for another three months.
This takes effect from 1st October 2020 to 31st Decemeber 2020.
