Last words of Penciled Celebrity, Stay Ray Styles before his death with a Ghanaian gospel musician Sonnie Badu revealed.

The young man, before his death, was a very talented artist and painter who made portraits and paintings of mainly celebrities – the reason why he earned the name Pencil Celebrities.

He made paintings for the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, President Akufo-Addo himself, and other celebrities, including Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, Bola Ray, just to mention a few.

Ray’s health condition became public in the month of August 2020, sparking a nationwide campaign for a donation toward his surgery.

Rebecca Akufo Addo donated a sum of $20,000 (GHc115,577.86) toward the surgery. It was announced that the total sum required for his treatment was £40,000 (GHc305,342.84).

Ray Styles, known in real life as Emmanuel Apraku, died sadly on October 1, 2020 in India. He had been on admission at the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi in that country.

Ghanaian renowned gospel artiste Sonnie Badu took to his social media platform to share his last chat with the demise artist, Ray Styles of Penciled Celebrities.

In the conversation which was presented in a form of photo montage, Ray Styles was hopeful he will survive the surgery but unfortunately passed away recently.

Sonnie Badu shared on Instagram; “Rest in power. It’s taken a minute for me to say good bye @penciledcelebrities … rest in power , you fought a good fight and your faith in God was beautiful …. till we meet again.. it’s purple ???? #RIP“.
