Ghanaian star, Sandra Ankobiah, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to quickly intervene in the Nigerian situation following the shooting of protesters

Sandra Ankobiah took to her Twitter page to plead with the president to step into the situation and use his position as the Chairman of ECOWAS to help resolve the situation.

Now, this was after reports came in yesterday October 20, 2020, showing some people in military attire firing into crowds of unarmed protesters and reportedly killing some.

There were many videos going round on social media which showed people at a popular toll booth in Lekki where people were seen in distress.

Many celebs both in Nigeria and Ghana have added their voices to the atrocities and the killing of these peaceful protesters.

Sandra Ankobiah’s tweet read:

Mr. President @NAkufoAddo please show some empathy. Please show the Nigerian youth that you care. Please show some authority as the Head of Ecowas. Thank you

Meanwhile the CEO of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai Abu has questioned President Akufo-Addo’s silence on Nigeria’s #EndSARS issue.

He indicated that President Akufo-Addo is gradually becoming the poster boy and an “endorser” of lawlessness on the African continent.

President Akuffo Addo’s long silence on #ENDSars as chair of ECOWAS does not only confirm his approval of the failed leadership being exhibited in Nigeria today but only goes to confirm his stance on using state-sponsored security to suppress freedoms

He is gradually becoming the poster boy and an “endorser” of lawlessness on the African continent. This is the man that presided over AWW violence by state-sponsored security forces remember? #EndSars #EndPoliceBrutality #LekkiTollGateMassacre
