NPP and NDC thugs clash at Accra Jamestown in the Odododiodio Constituency.

Some Ghanaians seem to be fed up with the peace that co-exits in the nation as they fight each other in new videos making waves on the internet.

A peace walk by supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) turned violent in Jamestown in the Odododiodio constituency this morning, Sunday October 25, 2020.

According to sources, the fight was intense on the ‘Atta Mills Highway’ at a popular junction known as ‘One Way’.

In the disturbing videos circulating online, supporters of both parties were seen throwing stones at their opponents.

It is not clear what spark the supporters of incumbent NDC MP, Nii Lante Vanderpuye and NPP’s Nii Lante Bannerman to start violent exchanges.

According to reports, the police have intervened and they have said that both parties have written their statements about what started the violence. So far, the number of injured or possible fatalities is yet to be confirmed.
