Kpone Chief Finally Details Why He ‘Disrespected’ Nana Addo And Walked Out On Him At A Durbar Ground

The Paramount Chief of Kpone, Nii Tetteh Otu II, the chief who allegedly walked out on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during a durbar at Kpone has finally spoken up.

A video circulating on social media indicates that on Sunday, October 25, 2020, he walked out on the president, click here to see the video.

According to Nii Tetteh Otu II has revealed that the video circulating on social media about the incident that occurred at the durbar ground has been taken out of context,

In a news item on TV3s news 360, the Kpone paramount chief revealed that under no circumstances will he ever disrespect the president of Ghana.

When questioned as to what caused him to raise his hands and speak on top of his voice to the hearing of other, the chief said some council members were saying something he didn’t agree with.

He explained that he got furious at the durbar because he felt the ground breaking and sod-cutting in the town was becoming too much.

Nii Tetteh Otu II said what he wanted to see were the completed projects in his town which shows that the government is truly undertaking developmental projects and has the people in mind.

He however, urged people to disregard the video circulating with a commentary stating that the video has been wrongly interpreted.
