Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has reacted to reports of it’s chairperson, Mrs Jean Adukwei traveling outside Ghana after announcing the 2020 presidential results.
The Electoral Commission has announced to the public that, their Chairperson, Jean Mensa has not traveled outside the country as claimed by some citizens.
There are rumors spreading at a faster pace that the Jean Mensa left the country few hours after declaring the Presidential Election Results on Wednesday 9th December. The Commission in a release rubbished the rumor and maintain that their Chairperson is still in the country.
“Mrs. Jean Mensa, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, as well as all the Commissioners are at post discharging their legally mandated duties” They stated.
