The former NDC leader who is well known for his vigorous involvement in the affairs of the NDC and his constant shaming of the NPP when the party was in power is not being torn apart by his own party members.

His crime was to wish the president, Akufo-Addo who any NDC member would consider as an enemy. He wished the president a merry Christmas on his Twitter page. Along with that, he made some parabolic statement that can be translated into a different meaning.

Part of his tweet suggested that he and his friend in football, Gabby Otchere Darko who is also a leading member of the NPP and cousin to the president, he said, Arsenal will not pray for Tottenham Hotspurs to win the EPL.

“I wish His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a merry Christmas and a happy new year. However, the President must know that Arsenal supporters like myself and Gabby shall never pray for Tottenham Hotspurs to win the EPL. Torfiakwa”

Some has explained it that Arsenal meant the NPP and Tottenham meant the NDC. In short, the NPP will not pray for NDC to win the 2020 elections. Based on this, NDCs on Social media has roasted Mr Anyidoho for this comment.

Others described his actions a betrayal to his father, Major General Henry Anyidoho who was a stunt member of the party. It seems, the interest of Mr Anyi has been shfyedbto the once-enemy, NPP as he critique his own party countless occasions.

Other comments were,

“Whether NPP is your Arsenal and NDC is your Tottenham Hotspurs. The Tottenham you know in your heart will win. Your prayer goes nowhere and means nothing. Victory shall be ours no matter your parable”

“Very shameful. People mass up form political parties. When it goes well with them, they are fine and endorse anything. When they fall out, they become internal enemies. You’re not serious. I have people who behave like you’re doing. Stop this hypocrisy”
