The government of Ghana has signed a deal with the Portuguese construction firm, Coglomerate Mota-Engil, Engenharia E Constructao Aftica S.A for an extension project
As part of the agreement signed, the current 19.5 km motorway will see its freeway expanded into a two-lane dual carriage and it’s an urban highway into a three-lane dual carriage. The freeway lane of the motorway will remain concrete surfacing whiles the urban highway will be in asphaltic concrete with paved shoulders after the reconstruction.
