Ghanaian renowned singer, Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong known in the showbiz as Becca has has finally confirmed that her mother, Madam Julie Yiadom-Oti has passed away in London.

Reports of her death were first shared by Instagram blogger, Cutie Julls and was followed by a confirmation from renowned Ghanaian blogger, Chris-Vincent Agyapong.
According to the reports, Madam Julie Yiadom-Oti, the mother of award-winning songstress Becca has passed on.

From what we have gathered, this sad incident is reported to have occurred yesterday in London where she resides after a very short illness.
Reacting to this shocking and sad news, Becca has shared a blank dark post on her Instagram page which signifies that she is mourning.

Becca revealed in her post that today, Friday, 8 January is one of her darkest days in her and went ahead to ask everyone to give her and her family the privacy to moan their lost.

One of the darkest days of my life.
I just lost My mom… Madam Julie Oti following a very brief illness.
This shock and pain is unbearable and the family would like to beg for understanding and respect of our privacy during this difficult time to moan.
