The National Democratic Congress, (NDC) Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Hon. Sam George has decided not to allow his children to go back to school on Monday due to COVID-19

His comment come after President Nana Addo said on January 18th 2021 schools will resume.

Final year students were allowed to resume studies to enable them to write their final year exams amidst strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocols a few months ago.

Meanwhile in a new post sighted on the Facebook page of the Ningo-Prampram lawmaker, Sam George said that after consulting some top medical professionals, he and his wife have decided not to allow their kids to go back to school.

After deep reflection and consultation with Senior Medical professionals, my wife and I have decided that our children would NOT be going to school on Monday or anytime soon. As said earlier, better a missed grade than a grave
