Ghanaian singer and member of the Rufftown Records, Wendy Shay, has disclosed why her song “Pray For The World” was taken down by YouTube.

A few days ago, news reported earlier by thedistin.com, indicates that Wendy Shay’s song “Pray For The World” had been taken down by YouTube.

According to reports gathered, it was alleged that some Ghanaians reported the song to South African singer Master KG because Wendy’s song “Pray For The World” was stolen from “Jerusalema”.

Well, speaking in a Facebook Live Video, Wendy Shay shared what she went through with help from her legal teams before she finally got her song back on YouTube platform.

According to her, her lawyers had to write back and forth to argue that her song was totally different from Jerusalema and was not stolen.

After a thorough scrutiny, YouTube decided to put her song back on their platform.
