Comedian DKB in a video has warned parents to stop sending their wards to school due to the spike in Covid-19 cases in Ghana.

Schools in Ghana were closed since March 15, 2020, as part of the government’s measures to curtail the spread of the COVID-19.

But after nine months of closure due to COVID-19, President Akufo-Addo in his 21st address announced the opening of schools for basic schools on 15th January.

For some days now, students of some basic school, senior high schools, universities have obliged to the rules of the president, Nana Addo as they’ve been seen in some videos in their schools.

Most of the students in some communities and towns in Ghana were observing the social distance and wearing of masks and some Covid-19 protocols but not all schools have been strictly observing these protocols.

Some parents have however expressed anxiety over the possible spread of the virus in the school as Ghana’s cases increase.

Due that, many parents are not willing to send their wards back to school.

Comedian DKB has also joined the tall lists of citizens who are against the opening of schools while there is a rising in Covid-19 cases in Ghana.

He has sent a warning to parents over sending their children back to school.

Comedian DKB also wondered why there have not been Covid-19 records from political leaders during their campaign rallies.
