Nigerian singer and songwriter JoeBoy drops his much-anticipated debut album, ‘Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic’
“Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic” is a body of work from the Banku Music/emPawa Africa artiste which celebrates love in its myriad forms.
The 14-track album production credit goes to Dera, Type A, BeatsByKO, MOG, Big Fish, Tempoe, Mex Flairz, E Kelly, Killertunes and Semzy. Mixed by Oxygen Mix and mastered by E Kelly, Oxygen Mix and Air.
“Working on this project was life-changing, I met a version of myself I never knew before,” Joe Boy says of the project, recorded over the last year. “The plan was to come up with a title that best describes love, without actually using the word love, hence Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic. Because love is a perfect blend of beauty and magic.”
