The communications officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi says the EC chairperson Jean Mensa does not want to be cross-examined because she knows she will be exposed
According to him, the EC is running away from being exposed by the lead counsel of the petitioner Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata which is why her lawyers are doing everything in their power to avoid entering the witness box.
Speaking to the press after the election petition hearing today in the Supreme Court, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi said Jean Mensa needs to testify especially when she is one of the key figures in the whole case.
The Supreme Court will continue to sit on the 2020 election petition case on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
Jean Mensa is running away from the court because she is afraid of being exposed. She declared the 2020 election results and that is why she needs to come and defend what necessitated her decision
She knows she will be exposed and that is why her lawyers are trying hard to make her evade cross-examination
