The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has advised the general Ghanaian populace on the resurgence of the Ebola virus after confirmed cases have been recorded in Guinea and Nigeria.
The GMA in a letter dated February 15, 2021 cautioned the public to be cautious of their lifestyle as 7 cases of the virus confirmed by sister country Guinea on February 14.
In the letter, the association also called on all regional and district health stakeholders to prepare to swiftly respond to the Ebola Virus Disease should it struck Ghana.
