Actor and News Anchor,Akrobeto, known in private life as Akwasi Boadi has said Agya koo’s absence in movies did not collapse the kumawood movie industry.
The movie star made this revelation after Agya Koo said in an interview that movie producers refused to star him in most of the locally produced movies .
He claimed most people ignored lot of kumawood movies he was not featured.
According to Akrobeto in an interview on Peace FM debunked Agya koo’s claims that his absence in movies caused the collapse of Kumawood.
He said, somehow it true, because he recounted years back when producers will wait for Agya koo to proceed with a movie but his absence is not the entire cause of the collapse of kumawood .
He further added that the patronizing of movies went down when the ‘dumsor’ and the introduction of telenovelas spoilt the movie market.
